Warforge Audio

Create the bass tone
you have been trying to find.

Warforge Audio helps bass players and mix engineers who are tired of traditional bass tone by giving them a complete bass-centric musical tool chest that allows them to craft a truly signature sound.Armory is a new multiband effects environment for bass. Shape the lows, mids, and highs independently, then build the sound that you love.

The idea behind Armory

Your low end does not have to pay for your high-end grit.

Most bass tone tools make you treat the whole signal the same way. Armory lets you split your bass into up to five frequency bands, then give each one a complete, independent effects chain.Keep the low end solid while the top end gets aggressive. Compress only the mids. Put chorus on the highs, a bass enhancer on the lows, or a reverb that follows the note you are playing. Every module is available in every rack, in whatever order makes sense for the sound you are building. It is a complete front-to-back bass signal chain in one place: preamp, amp, cab, effects, tone shaping, and a master bus after the bands come back together.

Warforge Audio - Armory

A real effects rack
for every band of your bass.

Armory is a multiband, multi-effects processor built specifically for bass guitar. Start with one full-range band, then split it into as many as five bands and build a different chain in each one.Shape each band independentlyUse a vintage amp on the lows, modern drive on the highs, and compression only where you need control. Drag modules into place, reorder them, copy a chain to another band, or swap entire chains when you want to try a different approach.Build with tools made for bassArmory includes 24 effect modules plus a tuner, with more than 130 processing styles across preamps, amps, cabinet and mic combinations, dynamics, drive, EQ, modulation, spatial effects, and bass utilities. That includes bass-specific tools such as a compressor whose release follows the note you are playing, a resonance reverb tuned to that note's harmonic series, and a buzz de-noiser for fret and string noise.Keep exploring without losing the workTwo live A/B snapshots let you compare directions immediately. A real undo and redo history means you can pull a chain apart, try something strange, and return to where you started.Available formats: VST3, AUArmory is pre-release software in active development. Where it started - Warhammer

Warhammer was the first Warforge Audio design, a multiband overdrive and distortion proof of concept built for bass. It answered one question: could the low end stay strong while the upper bands developed the grit and character I wanted? It could. Armory grew from that idea into a full bass-processing environment.

About Warforge Audio

I have been playing bass professionally since 1995, and I spent years looking for an overdrive or distortion that could give me real character without completely sapping the strength from the low end. I tried splitters, volume pedals, EQs, phase shifting, crossovers, and all kinds of other combinations. I could not find the tool I wanted. So, I built it.Warforge Audio is one bassist building the tools he wanted to use, for bass players and mix engineers who want their sound to be their own.

Help build the bass tool you have been looking for.

Armory is still being built, and I am looking for bass players and bass-focused mix engineers who want to put it through real use. You will get early access to a working build, then tell me what is useful, what gets in the way, and what would make Armory worth keeping in your own workflow. This is not a finished product or a sales pitch. It is a chance to help shape a serious bass tool before release.Enter your name, email, and share your role (bassist, audio engineer, producer, etc.) and any info you'd like me to have in the Message field.
